About Kiddish
Founded by Cara Smith, Kiddish is a boutique potty-training consultancy based in San Francisco that supports families through potty learning with clarity, emotional safety, and developmentally grounded structure.
Before founding Kiddish, Cara worked for years as a primary art school teacher and private nanny. Those experiences shaped how she understands children—not as problems to solve, but as learners whose behavior is always communicating something.
Over the past decade, Cara has worked with hundreds of families navigating everything from potty learning to poop withholding, anxiety, regressions, and complex learning profiles. The Kiddish Method blends practical guidance with close observation, so families aren’t just told what to do—but understand why it works.
